Justin Bieber Returns to South Korea After 13 Years, Shares Seoul Moments With Fans: Canadian pop superstar Justin Bieber has arrived in South Korea for the first time in approximately 13 years, sparking excitement among fans after sharing glimpses of his visit to Seoul on social media.
The 32-year-old singer posted several photographs on October 23 with the caption, “Made it to Seoul,” giving fans a look at his journey through the South Korean capital. His arrival marks his first reported visit to the country since his 2013 performance, although he later made a virtual appearance at the Weverse Con Festival in 2021.
Bieber arrived at Incheon International Airport, west of Seoul, in the early hours of Friday alongside his wife, model and entrepreneur Hailey Bieber, according to local media reports.
Justin Bieber Shares Glimpses of Seoul
Following his arrival, Bieber offered fans a series of snapshots capturing the atmosphere of Seoul. The photographs showed the singer travelling in a car, looking out at the city’s roads, bridges near the Han River and sunset-lit urban landscapes.
The images also featured details of the city’s distinctive road navigation system and the evening scenery visible through the vehicle’s windshield, creating a candid travel diary of his time in South Korea.
One photograph showed Bieber taking a selfie in a hoodie, sporting a mustache and nose piercing. His relaxed appearance and informal updates quickly attracted attention from fans, who welcomed the singer back to the country after more than a decade.
The social media posts generated interest among both South Korean and international fans, many of whom have been waiting to see the pop star return to the country.
Visit Reportedly Linked to SKYLRK Pop-Up Event
Bieber’s visit is reportedly connected to a pop-up store event in Seoul for SKYLRK, his fashion and lifestyle brand. The development has added a commercial dimension to the singer’s trip, bringing together his global celebrity profile and his growing business interests beyond music.
The pop-up event is expected to attract attention from fans interested in the brand as well as Bieber’s fashion choices. His social media updates have already helped place Seoul at the centre of conversations among his international fan base.
A Long-Awaited Return for Korean Fans
Bieber last performed in South Korea in 2013. Although his virtual appearance at Hybe’s Weverse Con Festival in late 2021 offered fans another opportunity to connect with him, his latest visit marks a notable return in person.
The singer rose to international fame as a teenager and became one of pop music’s most recognisable global artists, with chart-topping hits, major tours and a substantial online following. Over the years, he has also expanded into fashion and lifestyle ventures, giving fans additional ways to engage with his work.
His return to Seoul after approximately 13 years has renewed interest in his connection with South Korea. While the visit is reportedly tied to SKYLRK, Bieber’s arrival and personal photographs have already made the trip a talking point among fans worldwide.
