Tulsa King to Return for Season Four as Paramount+ Expands Sylvester Stallone’s Crime Saga: Paramount+ is continuing its successful Tulsa King franchise with a fourth season planned for 2026, extending the crime drama led by Oscar-nominated actor Sylvester Stallone as Dwight “The General” Manfredi.
Created by Taylor Sheridan, Tulsa King follows New York mafia capo Dwight Manfredi after he is released from prison following a 25-year sentence and sent to Tulsa, Oklahoma. There, he begins building a new criminal empire while navigating rival gangs, law enforcement and unexpected alliances.
The series has become one of Paramount+’s leading original productions, with its popularity helping establish a wider television universe around Sheridan’s crime dramas.
Season 4 Coming in 2026
Following the success of the series, Paramount+ has renewed Tulsa King for a fourth season. Season 4 is planned for release in 2026, although Paramount+ has not yet announced a specific premiere date.
The renewal keeps Stallone at the centre of the series as Dwight Manfredi continues to expand his influence while facing new threats and challenges.
Season 3 Expanded the Story
Season 3 premiered on September 21, 2025, continuing Dwight’s increasingly complicated battle for control in Tulsa.
The season introduced the Dunmire family, a wealthy and powerful Oklahoma dynasty whose arrival created a new threat to Dwight and his growing organization.
The cast includes Sylvester Stallone, Martin Starr, Jay Will, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Robert Patrick, Beau Knapp, Bella Heathcote, Chris Caldovino, Kevin Pollak, Vincent Piazza, Frank Grillo, Michael Beach and James Russo.
Samuel L. Jackson also joined the franchise as Russell Lee Washington Jr., adding another major Hollywood star to the expanding Tulsa King universe.
Samuel L. Jackson Leads NOLA King
Jackson’s character is also central to ** NOLA King **, the first announced spin-off from Tulsa King.
Russell Lee Washington Jr. has a history with Dwight, having spent time with him in federal prison. After being sent to Tulsa by the New York Renzetti crime family, Washington initially has an assignment involving Dwight but instead becomes inspired by his transformation.
He eventually returns to New Orleans, where he attempts to reconnect with his family and build his own empire.
The spin-off demonstrates Paramount+’s intention to develop Tulsa King beyond a single series and into a broader crime-drama franchise.
A Major Paramount+ Success
The show’s popularity has been reflected in its streaming performance. Paramount+ reported that the Season 2 premiere was streamed by 5.4 million global active subscriber households during its first seven days, making it one of the platform’s strongest launches.
The series has also benefited from the popularity of Sheridan’s interconnected television universe, which includes Yellowstone, 1883, 1923, Mayor of Kingstown and Special Ops: Lioness.
Stallone’s Dwight Manfredi Returns in 2026
With Season 4 planned for 2026, fans can expect Dwight Manfredi’s story to continue as his criminal organization, business interests and personal relationships evolve.
The combination of Sylvester Stallone’s star power, Taylor Sheridan’s storytelling and Paramount+’s expanding crime universe has turned Tulsa King into one of the platform’s most recognizable franchises.
For audiences, the wait now turns to 2026, when Dwight “The General” Manfredi is expected to return for another chapter of Tulsa King.
